Spring is officially here! You know what that means? It’s time to vote for Wisconsin Bride Magazine’s annual Best of Wisconsin. We don’t typically get too caught up in awards and winning, however this year it’s hugely important we acknowledge the awesomeness of the amazing professionals we are privileged to work with daily. Over our sixteen years in business, we have been honored to work with so many talented wedding vendors. Most wedding professionals are small businesses therefore they could use your support now more than ever!
Please take a few minutes to cast your ballot for Wisconsin Bride’s Best of 2020! You must vote for at least 10 categories. We’ve given you some of our favorites in many of the categories below. As you will be able to tell from our list, we have SOOO many favorites we couldn't pick just one for most of the categories! With quarantine/homeschooling mommy/old lady brain, please forgive us if we forgot anyone…because we know we did!

FUN FACT: We did our first wedding with Erin at Daffodil Parker WAY back in 2006! We ended up doing our biggest wedding EVER with them in 2018. Definitely a career highlight for us!
FUN FACT: More times than we can count someone has called our Jayme Jamae….we totally consider it a compliment!
FUN FACT: Christy is not only a wonderful florist, she is also an awesome nurse!
FUN FACT: Amanda is a fellow high maintenance doggie mom! She also grows many of her own flowers! (For us that is HUGE since we kill all plants!)
FUN FACT: Nicole is one of our newer florist to us, but it feels like we have been friends and partners forever!!
FUN FACT: Talking to Sarah always feels like reconnecting with old friends.
FUN FACT: There’s basically nothing John CAN’T do!
COUNTRY/GOLF CLUB VENUE
FUN FACT: We may have shed a tear or two when Cheryl, the Events Manager, left Bishop's for a short period. We are thrilled she is back!
HISTORIC VENUE
FUN FACT: Although we have not worked at this lovely venue as many times as the other Madison venues, it has quickly become a favorite of ours for many reasons.
URBAN VENUE
FUN FACT: We did our second ever wedding together way back in 2004! We have watched them go through many renovations over the years and they just keep getting better and better.
FUN FACT: We just did an AMAZING photoshoot at the loft in January….keep watching the blog for more details on that shoot or check out the Spring/Summer issue of WI Bride Magazine.
Madison Museum of Contemporary Art
FUN FACT: We’ve done ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, photoshoots, and even birthday parties all in their awesome space!
DJ
FUN FACT: Geoffrey is our non-profit hero! That man donates so much time to working with various charities.
FUN FACT: We have known Scott since before we started doing weddings… he even did Jayme and Dean's wedding!
BANDS
FUN FACT: You can have a band as small as 3 people or as big as 14 people…now those are some options!
FUN FACT: Kenny the fiddler in the band is also the husband of Jayme’s pilates instructor and we didn’t even make the connection until about a month before the quarantine!
RENTALS
FUN FACT: Event Essentials was one of the first vendors we ever worked with WAY back in 2004!
FUN FACT: A La Crate is one of Katie's favorite places to go because antiques and vintage are her jam!
FUN FACT: Constanza is a fellow red head…maybe we should adopt her into the family?
FUN FACT: Jason is the guy we call when we want something crazy built!
FUN FACT: Isn’t the fact that they make donut walls fun enough?
INVITATIONS
FUN FACT: Kathy is the queen of details!
FUN FACT: Heather is our go to girl for when we want something crazy made.
FUN FACT: Brooke and Jayme’s kids go to school together!

FUN FACT: Stephanie has a great shop, but did you know she also has a bakery cart too!?!
FUN FACT: Jayme and the ladies from Craig's Cakes were on a TV show together in 2010! We absolutely loved their white chocolate shavings.
FUN FACT: Bloom Bake Shop is such a unique treasure in Madison. They truly create beautiful and delicious desserts!
FUN FACT: We are always excited to see Michelle to see what color her hair will be…she is always rocking some fun color!!
FUN Fact: Jo is literally a ray of sunshine!
HAIR AND MAKE UP
FUN FACT: Kendra just makes us calm. She just has a peaceful vibe to her.
FUN FACT: Liz is such a sweetheart and so beautiful we are working to have her be a model for one of our styled photoshoots this year!
FUN FACT: Aside from being a truly gifted stylist, Jacqui, the owner of Rooted Couture is one of our past brides. And Jayme has known, Michelle, their wedding coordinator since Michelle was a little girl. (We’ll never tell know many years that is!!)
WEDDING PLANNER
FUN FACT: We like to think that we are pretty organized, dedicated, detailed, crazy, and fun!
CATERING
FUN FACT: In all our years of doing tented weddings, we have by far used Upstairs Downstairs the most!
FUN FACT: The wonderful people at Underground helped us pull off two tented weddings in one day! We would have never have been able to do it without them.
FUN FACT: Dan and his team once created a 16 foot charcuterie board for us!
ALL THINGS DRESSES
FUN FACT: Both of Katie’s sisters have found their dresses at Marah’s. Marah and her sister have such a wonderful selection of gowns!
FUN FACT: Jayme worked as a bridal consultant for Vera’s in both Madison and Janesville when she was 19!
FUN FACT: They have so many beautiful dresses that when they do their super fun showdowns on social media, we can never pick just one dress!
FOrmalwear
FUN FACT: This is another company that we have been working with since the beginning of our planning career.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
FUN FACT: Bobbi, Doug and Courtney are the best… we have so much fun working in collaboration with them and their talented visions!
FUN FACT: Errin is from the same small town as our extended family… making her apart of our family!
FUN FACT: Laura and Ben have such a fun hip vibe that they make you want to go out of your comfort zone!
FUN FACT: Aaron and Melissa are so sweet and welcoming they make you feel happy to be around them!
VIDEOGRAPHERS
FUN FACT: Like Jayme, Cindy is also married to a Dean. They also just moved from Milwaukee to Madison!
FUN FACT: Kelly and Ben are hardcore campers…they camp with no power or water! (We consider camping in an RV roughing it!)
TRANSPORTATION
FUN FACT: They have a bus that holds up to 81 people! Holy man…that’s big!
FUN FACT: Jayme and her family do an annual Christmas lights trip and it is ALWAYS Gallant Knight and most of the time even with the same driver!
